Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) is one of the tools of economic data that can be used to evaluate the economic development performance of a region (province and district / city). These data sets may also be used for other purposes and purposes, such as the basis for the development of economic models in order to formulate policy formulations, the rate of velocity of money, the deepening of the financial sector (finacial deepening), the determination of taxes, the study of exports and import and so on. According to macroeconomic theory, the calculation of GRDP can be done through three approaches, namely: production / supply (GDP by Industry / industry) approach, final expenditure approach (GDP by Expenditure) and income approach (GDP by income) . The three calculation approaches will in theory produce the same GDP. This publication specifically addresses PDRB according to the final expenditure / demand approach. This approach is broken down into several components: Household Consumption Expenditures, Non-Profit Non-Profit Consumption Expenditures Serving Households, Government Consumption Expenditures, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Inventory Changes), Foreign Exports, Foreign Imports, and Net Exports Inter Regional (inter-regional exports minus inter-regional imports). PDRB data in this publication as well as subsequent publications using the base year of 2010, and already apply the concept of System of National Accounts 2008 as recommended by United Nations.
